Continuing on with the cross stitch

The cross stitch is very time consuming, but so cute. I am not sure I am going to want to let this go when I am done with it. But I will, and I found out my deadline...March. I better get MOVING!

This blanket is small... for a newborn and then can become a "blankie"

Crochet Hook Grip

This baby blanket I am working on is killing my hand...the hook (4.0mm) is kinda small. I wanted something to widen the handle...I couldnt find any cushioning tape around the house or a pencil grip... but I found my hot glue gun!

My First Cross Stitch Project

This is my first time cross-stitching...again as a baby shower gift for my wonderful sister in-law (shh no one tell her). It is a bit of a lofty project to take on... it will take many hours, but it is going to be so cute when it is finished!

I have completed all of the stem stitching and satin stitching, I have just barely started the cross stitching.

This is my first little baby blanket that I am making. A lovely yellow since we do not know the sex of the baby yet (can't wait to be an Aunt)
